I am on the schedule for 2/19, the 172 I use to fly had a hard landing a few months ago, and has been replaced with a newer model and a newer rental fee YIKES!

Just a short stop here. Weather ceiling at 900 feet right now. I hope weather is better where ever you are. Wife had colonscopy and doctor said come every 4 years instead of every year she is very happy. Cancer in remission but no chemo. Yea!!!! Fly safe.

Just got back from a nice cross country trip.... Orlando. Fl to Lawrence, Al and back. Went up the to attend the Lawrence County Air Show and Music Festival last Friday and Saturday. Outstanding time, air show was great and the evening bands were outstanding. Trip took about 4 1/2 hours.

Passed my stress test today, got both 85% max heart rate and I went 12 minutes on treadmill. The FAA informed me that the regional flight surgeon in NH will be making the decision on my special issuance.

Got a eye infection so flying is out of the picture till this clears up. Been very foggy in the mornings here. So just have to wait for my eye and weather to clear up.

Finally back in the air today after a much-too-long break. Last time up was March 24th in Keene, NH In a real creampuff of a 172, and had the same good luck today at PVD. It's really nice getting to fly in rental aircraft that are well maintained. Good job, Monadnock Aviation and Horizon Aviation!

Seven days away is my 6 month recovery and stabilization period to begin the process to get my special issuance medical certificate from the FAA, what a long laundry list I have to provide. I went through 36 visits of rehab, and when I was done they said I will fly through the stress test .
